The game did not start out very well for either team as they exchanged turnovers on their first drive, both turnovers were fumbles which was aided by rainy conditions all night long.

The Lancers had 0 yards in the air as SR quarterback Mike Dawson went 0-15 never coming close to throwing a good ball all night ,a lot of his trouble was the rain .The Lancers gained only 123 yards on the ground on 43 attempts. The Lancers tried all night running the ball up the middle all night going outside very fiew times mostly on quarterback keepers that seldom fooled anyone at the game let alone the John Glenn defense. Leading the Lancers on the ground was Randall Adkins 49 yards on 16 carries.

John Glenn goes to round to with a 9-2 record to face a 9-2 Gallipolis Gallia team, at a site to be determine later in the week.
